Ward 3 Councillor Bernie Morelli died peacefully Tuesday night, surrounded by his family.
Many paid tribute to the long-time and influential Ward 3 Councillor on Wednesday.
The City provided a book for condolences in the lobby of City Hall and lowered flags at all City facilities in respect to Morelli.
The public is invited to attend visitation for Morelli on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the P.X. Dermody Funeral Home at 1919 King Street East, just east of Rosedale Avenue.
Morelli’s funeral sermon and mass will be held Monday at Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m.
