The City of Hamilton’s Planning Committee met on February 19, 2013 to discuss numerous issues, including Sunday gun hunting and taxi issues.
Sunday gun license delegations were received by committee with no further direction to staff – effectively killing the proposal.Licensing of accessible cabs continues to progress, but in a knot towards the taxi drivers union, committee passed a motion calling on the province to decrease taxi insurance premiums.
