Hamiltonians will pay our respects to Corporal Nathan Cirillo on Tuesday as he is honoured with a military funeral.
The funeral procession will depart Bayfront Park at 10:30am, with the funeral being held at noon at Christ Church Cathedral.

I plan to quietly stand on Bay Street to show my respect as the procession marches past. I will not be recording, tweeting, or taking photos.
There will be many documenting the procession – ensuring history has a proper record of how Hamilton mourned the tragic death of Corporal Cirillo.
I hope seeing the outpouring of support from across Canada – and the world – can provide some comfort to Cpl. Cirillo’s loved ones, regiment, and the entire extended military family as they struggle to cope with the terrible tragedy.
