Hamilton Police Services Board for January 2014 [Replay]

Bernie Morelli’s death will loom large over the January Police Services Board meeting. Morelli was the most experienced member of the Board and was the Chair until his death a week ago.

Morelli’s term as Chair was ending and the Police Services Board was scheduled to elect a new Chair and Vice-Chair at this meeting.

The Board will consider and vote on the proposed 2014 Police budget. This year’s proposed increse is 2.98% and has not attracted the controversy of last year’s budget saga.
