Humour and COVID: Not Sure How They Mix

Today I intent was to be light-hearted, but it definitely did not work. A person I like walks into a small shop, I joke that he is one too many people, the person in front of him in his group tries to leave.

I quickly explained I was engaging in banter, and the misunderstanding was quickly understood.

Nonetheless, I'm going to be much more mindful.

I'm continuing to take the pandemic seriously, I'm moving around much less than what I usually do. Other than crossing to the other side of James Street, I haven't been outside of the geographical boundary of the Beasley neighbourhood since Monday.

Returning to Hamilton in the middle of COVID, I'm trying to maintain social distancing while not seeming rude. Eventually, I'll find the balance.
