Thursday night, the MacNDP held a roundtable with Wayne Marston, the MP for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek.
I enjoyed the evening. I was reminded of how much of a gentleman Wayne Marston was during the 2000 Election Campaign when we were both running for School Board Trustee in Ward 5.
There was interesting discussion during the evening. What I enjoyed the most was the complete acceptance of debate.
It has strengthened my belief that I am in the right party for me. I believe that ulimately, the NDP is the only party that put the interests of people first. I may not be 100% aligned with every policy but ultimately it comes back to people.
