Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating Hamilton Police involvement with a motorcycle that crashed into a guard rail while being chased by Hamilton Police.
The SIU says, in a news release, that police were operating a radar on the RHVP near Queenston when the motorcyclist was caught speeding and a police cruiser gave case.
The motorcyclist collided with the guard rail on the Barton Street northbound off-ramp.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
