Tune in at 8:00am for special live coverage from City Hall as the door opening and the first candidates register.
The Mayoral Race
Ward 1 City Councillor Brian McHattie was the first candidate to publicly declare a run this past fall.
His campaign volunteers state he will register at 10:30 a.m. this morning.
It wouldn’t be an election in Hamilton without perpetual candidate Brother Michael Baldasaro. Baldasaro says “I will run for the Office of Mayor and Chief Municipal Magistrate.”
Former Mayor **Fred Eisenberger **says he’s running and is expected to register early.
Incumbent Mayor **Bob Bratina **will be running for reelection. He hasn’t stated when he plans to register.
Council and Trustee Races
Many have said on social media they plan to run for election, we’ll post the names as they submit their registration papers.
