You only have LESS THAN TWO MINUTES to get out of your home in a fire ... so make sure your smoke detectors are working

I know the day will arrive, but hope it won’t be.

I will have to share the sad news of deaths in a house fire.

It seems inevitable, it’s the nature of a large city such as our that statistically tragedy will happen.

What I didn’t realize was just how likely it really is, you have less than two minutes to get out of your home upon hearing the smoke detector.

That is quicker than the fire department can ever hope to be at your home and rescue you.
