Hamilton’s Cycling Advisory Committee meets to discuss how to build Hamilton’s bike lane network by reaching out to Councillors to gain support.
Hamilton’s Ward Councillors can veto bike lanes in their wards, even if causes a break in the network on roadways with capacity for the lanes. Queensdale on the East Mountain being an example of this effect.
The committee meets Wednesday July 2 at 5:30pm on the first floor of City Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
