I believe this candidate stated his point well and clearly. He did so without going to bashing the CFS:
First, I in no way, at any point, for any reason, will ever, under any circumstances, advocate for or support the DSU abandoning CASA in favour of the CFS. Ever. That said, I don’t hate the CFS as much as some of my friends and colleagues do. From what I have seen, CASA is a more effective organization where it counts most: accomplishing what students need in terms of grants and other forms of tuition relief. While I prefer CASA’s advocacy, I think there is value to non-advocacy related benefits that come with being a CFS member.
